Data from the WA-APCD is made available to the public through Washington HealthCare Compare (WAHCC). WAHCC lets you evaluate the cost and quality of medical services offered by providers in your area. WAHCC has been recognized with a national award for its exceptional ability to convey complex health data clearly.

Public Use Dashboard
The new public use dashboard enables members of the health care community—from researchers and policy leaders to providers and payers—to learn more about health care services provided in Washington, including their outcomes and associated costs. The dashboard is WA-APCD's most recent milestone to foster insight regarding variations and disparities in health care use and quality and to support price transparency.
WA-APCD Snapshot
The WA-APCD includes longitudinal claims data for more than 5.5 million Washingtonians, or nearly 70% of the population. Our WA-APCD Snapshot shows metadata (data about the data) to end users, policymakers, and others who have questions about how much data is available, which health plans are providing it, and how the data has evolved over time.
Data Requests and Collaboration
We work with data requestors across the health care spectrum to control costs and improve the health and well-being of Washingtonians. Data access is one way we do that. Sharing WA-APCD data leads to insightful analysis and reporting and greater understanding of the quality, cost, and value of health care services provided in Washington.
