Air Ambulance Services Dashboard

ABOUT THE WA-APCD AIR AMBULANCE SNAPSHOT & ITS DATA

Air ambulances are used to transport patients via helicopter or airplane in critical and life-threatening situations. This Snapshot of Washington State Air Ambulance Services was created using the Washington All-Payer Health Care Claims Database (WA-APCD), the state’s most complete source of medical insurance data. It is a quick and easy way to explore how much air ambulance services cost, whose providing them, and how they are being consumed across the state. Using the Snapshot’s interactive dashboard, you can quickly explore number of services by county, provider member counts and cost, and see which diagnoses occur most often.
