About This Procedure:

This visit to treat mental and behavioral conditions is led by a clinician; often a psychologist, psychiatrist or other therapist. The clinician, through questions and conversation, helps spot and work through behaviors, emotions, life events, and ideas at the root of the problem.

Usually done in the doctor’s office, the price of a therapy visit is similar to or less than the fee for a doctor’s office visit for medical care.  This is a personal therapy visit – just for the individual.  Other less costly services include group therapy in which a small group of patients share experiences together with a clinician who leads the group.

Included In This Price:

The price covers just this one service – the counseling visit.  This price does not include any other care like tests or medications.
