This particular x-ray is of a single knee taken from 3 angles -- to see the front and the back of the knee, the side of the knee, and the top of the knee cap.  The procedure’s price varies a lot as it can be done in a number of settings – like a doctor’s office, an outpatient center, or a hospital outpatient department.  Alternatives to an x-ray include MRI, ultrasound, or CT scans though these scanning services are much more expensive.
